Clarius Mobile Health announced on October 28 that App 13.1 integrates 30 AI models for wireless handheld ultrasound. The company groups them into 12 diagnostic-workflow models, including measurement assistance; 14 T-Mode anatomical-learning models; and four models for tasks such as presets, voice commands and speech-to-text.
The company says supported models run on compatible smartphones and tablets, allowing supported scanning capabilities without an internet connection. App 13.1 is available for compatible scanners, but individual features vary by scanner, market and regulatory authorization.

Editorial view
Editorial view: handheld imaging competition extends beyond hardware into software updates and clinician measurement and learning workflows.
Evidence and limitations
Based on the manufacturer's announcement. Its industry-largest claim was not independently verified. This does not establish FDA clearance or clinical benefit for all 30 models, or replacement of clinician judgment.
